About myself:

 

I decided to create this website to help myself and others to figure out life and the steps to happiness.

Please be aware that I'm no expert. I'm just sharing with everybody while I figure out life. Yeap!! Still at this point of my life I'm trying to figure it out.

 

I'm a 52 almost 53 year old woman, a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a friend, an entrepreneur, a fashion designer, a mortgage loan officer, a very charitable person, a very good friend, an apprentice writer, but mostly and proudly I'm Nathan and Belle's grandma. www.prayfornnathan.org 

 

 

I love my 4 dogs, Maximus Decimus Meridius, Minnie D Too, Daniela Sade Chaka Kahn and Maria Callas.

 

Nathan has taught me how to love and accept unconditionally.

My dogs how to accept to be loved unconditionally. Quite a statement isn't it?

 

These are my experiences as an always evolving human being. (I said evolving, not perfect or knowledgeable). I hope you enjoy them.

12 Steps to happiness (The manual in progress)

 

When in pain and confusion, immerse yourself in the deep end of your soul and use your creativeness. One of the things you could do is writing.

 

Words will come easy if you start writing about your feelings, your goals, your dreams..... YES, your dreams!!! Even during the darkest moments of your life, you keep a place in your heart and mind that still hopes, wants and dreams. Search for the inspiration. It could be something or somebody you are taking for granted. You will find answers sometimes when you start creating. Even if you think you don’t have that creative vein, you could surprise yourself. Sometimes we don't really know what we are capable of or we just forget how creative we are.

 

Explore all forms of arts and crafts. You will find how your spirit can grow and evolve during the moments of concentration while trying to figure out how to develop your project.

 

Even cooking, cleaning your house or organizing your closet could become a form of art if you pour your heart and soul in it. Create new and inviting spaces in your home or develop new recipes.

 

When cooking everyday meals, try to figure out how to present pretty dishes and set up a pretty table, even if it's only you. You deserve it. YOU ARE IMPORTANT!! YOU ARE UNIQUE!! There's nobody else in the whole world like you. You can find people with similarities and affinities, but just ONE YOU.

 

Create a daily schedule that has one of the following activities and make them a habit.

 

Take baby steps; don't push yourself trying to create the busiest schedule the first day. You will disappoint yourself when you find out it's impossible to make huge changes right from the start.

 

Your schedule could look a little like this:

 

  1. In the morning, before opening your eyes, say a little prayer.

  2. Dedicate your day to God or any other source you believe in. It will help to improve your faith and it will give meaning to your life.

  3. Meditate. Start with 1 minute. Choose a subject and just think about it to find a breakthrough. It could be any subject. You can start just following your breathing.

  4. Drink 4 glasses of water before brushing your teeth. It will cleanse your system.

  5. Write for 2 minutes. Anything, it doesn't matter. Remember it's just for you. Even if it's just a sentence.

  6. Read something inspirational. Something really short, even if it's just a sentence. Memorize it and practice it during the day.

  7. Make a donation or help one person or group a day. Remember you can't change the world in one day but you could start today.

  8. Commit yourself to be kind and forgiving to at least one person a day.

  9. Choose one person a day to inspire you.

  10. Just for today do not lie.

  11. Choose the project of the day.
